Heriberto Serrano Rivera

Heriberto Serrano (Eddie) born on December 10, 1965 in Gurabo, PR to Teresita Rivera Dones and Antonio Serrano Pedraza. He passed away on April 16, 2024 in Newark, NJ at the age of 58.

Eddie will be lovingly remembered by his wife Rosa, his children: Melissa, Katiana, Heriberto Jr, his grandchildren: Yanelli, Bryan Jr, Carina, Kyahni, Aleshka, Heriberto III, Daniel Jr, Brayden, Josue, Idanis, Carmelo IV. His three brothers: Eliseo, Antonio and Jaime and a whole family that loves him more than words can explain. He was an amazing uncle and was loved dearly by his nieces and nephews. He was a great brother in law that kept his word to look out after his sisters in law. 

Eddie was the one you called on for everything and anything and he never said no. He was the neighborhood’s construction worker and always willing to be a helping hand. Eddie will be remembered for the accomplishments of fighting his battles and winning, his loving and giving heart and never ending energy. He had many plans in creating a new life in Florida with his family. Yet, Gods plan was different and although we are destroyed we will celebrate his legacy. We are all very proud of him. Until we meet again.

Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday April 27th, from 5:00 pm - 9 :00 pm. Private cremation to follow.
