Rosa Soria Obituary

Rosa Emilia Soria

December 15, 1942 ~ March 23, 2024

Rosa Emilia Soria (81) of Newark, NJ passed away in Cranford, NJ on 3/23/2024. Rosa was born in Huigra, Ecuador on 12/15/1942 to Dolores and Indalicio Guillen. Although she remained fond of her pueblo (Huigra), her aspiration since childhood was to live in America. Along with her husband Daniel (predeceased), she migrated to the United States to provide a better life for their son Glen and family. Rosa and Daniel welcomed two more children Danny and William while living in Newark. In essence, she achieved her American dream.

Rosa worked tirelessly to provide for her children and family (US and Ecuador). She achieved a core-life-goal by championing the education of her children, grandchildren and family. Rosa was a phenomenal woman with an open and generous heart. She helped many of her loved ones throughout her lifetime. And, her legacy lives on with those she loved and those who loved/love her.

Rosa is survived by her sons (Glen, Danny and William), grandchildren (Natalia, Julian, Ishmael, Joshua, Mathew and Hannah) and great-grandchildren (Gabriel and Nicholas). Rosa was predeceased by her husband Daniel Soria.

Family and Friends are invited to her memorial service. It will be held on Wednesday March 27th, from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Private cremation to follow.
